A year on from her sister’s murder, Darcy (Carolyn Bracken,) a woman who believes herself to be psychic, visits the labyrinthine country home of her brother-in-law, psychiatrist Ted (Gwilym Lee) and his new partner Yana (Caroline Menton.) After coming in contact with an item belonging to the man accused of her sister’s murder, Darcy intuits that there may be more to the case than in the closed police reports.
Taking place in the apparently interconnected world of Damian McCarthy’s films, Oddity features the director’s trademark atmospheric settings, and hints that supernatural aspects may have more mundane explanations.
