Reportedly based on the already challenging film The Exterminating Angel, Joel Potrykus’s Relaxer may not be a comfortable watch for all audiences.
Towards the end of 1999, obsessive, impressionable Abbie (Joshua Burge) seems to spend all of his time in Cam (David Dastmalchian,) his older brother’s apartment. To that end, the film opens with Cam setting Abbie a challenge – to defeat the notoriously glitched 256th level of Pac-Man.
Set entirely in a single room, expect a surreal and sometimes frustrating journey with unexpected turns. Relaxer is streaming free and ad-free in Australia.
