Operating on a similar model to Tubi, and having launched in 2017, Fawesome has an impressive and diverse library of movies and TV series, though it can be difficult to sort through. While the website is quite functionally on a computer, the smart TV navigation seems like it still needs a little work. Simply browsing the different genres seems to regularly take a long time to load even the film blurbs and thumbnails.
Despite the current navigation setbacks, once a programme is playing, it streams well, with a simple and effective playback controls. Expect less ads than other ad-supported services, with a feature film usually including a single ‘intermission’ in the middle of the movie for a short ad block. With content partners including Sony, Paramount, and Lionsgate, there are plenty of quality programmes to be found. You may be in for a treasure hunt to find them for the time being, though.
